One of the most important factors that influences a student’s performance in school is motivation, and this is in turn linked to the support, encouragement and affirmation that the student receives from his or her family, school, friends and the community. A strong school, home and community partnership makes all the difference in helping our children to discover and develop their talents and potential, regardless of their background.
SINDA – MOE Partnership Appreciation Ceremony 2013
Was delighted to attend the second SINDA-MOE Partnership Appreciation Ceremony, held at ITE College Central on Tues 21 May. The event was a celebration of the strong collaboration between our schools and the community to provide the necessary support to help our students level up. Would like to thank in particular the principals and educators who performed the role of liaison officers with SINDA.
It was heartening to hear educators speak on the importance of working together with the larger community to reach out to students in need and to hear the success stories.
